Contemplations on Character: A Guide into the Fullness of Godly Character
If you’ve attended our schools, read our books, or following our ministry, it won’t take you long to realize that we love the supernatural, the anointing, and the gifts of Spirit. Having said that, we are called to exemplify the person of Jesus Christ in every facet of His nature, leaving nothing out.
As a result, the topic of godly character cannot be omitted from our ministries. When you look at the dark spiral of society we are seeing a need for purity and a “called out” godliness like never before. I pray that through this work we see massive differences in our individual lives, our ministries, our marriages, and our personas as a whole.
When tackling the topic of character, I’ve heard things like, “Character? That’s not a topic many will be drawn to.” Yet we ought to be drawn to all things Jesus…and the topic of character is at the center of Christ’s heart. Anointing, gifting, and knowledge of the Word cannot supplant character nor is an emphasis on the character to eliminate the supernatural. You’ll actually discover that godly character is indeed supernatural. Walking in integrity is just as supernatural as prophesying. Putting the grocery basket back where you found it can be just as godly as laying hands on the sick.
